More about me

Hey there! I’m Haley! I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Liberty University and have gained valuable experience working as an Elementary School Guidance Counselor and School-Based Mental Health Therapist for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. In these roles, I supported students through academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges, working closely with them to promote their well-being. Additionally, my experience as a virtual teacher has made me well-versed in the online space, which directly translates to the virtual format of my private practice.

Also! I’m excited to share that I now offer both in-person and virtual sessions! Whether you prefer to meet at my welcoming office or from the comfort of your own home, I’m here to support you and your family.

I also hold an undergraduate degree in Christian Studies and have received training in Biblical Counseling. This foundation allows me to integrate faith with mental health care. If you're interested in Christian counseling, I offer that as an option and can incorporate it into our work together upon request. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if this approach resonates with you, and we can explore how it can best support your therapeutic path.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed watching your kid or teen struggle with stress, anxiety, behavioral issues, or low self-esteem, that is what I am here for. At Essence of Living Private Practice, I create a warm, fun, inviting virtual and/or in-person space where your son or daughter can comfortably express themselves. I know it is heart-wrenching to see your child in distress, and I’m committed to partnering with you to navigate these challenges together.

Through personalized, evidence-based strategies, I help kids, teens, and young adults learn coping skills, improve their behavior, and build self-confidence. We’ll work on practical techniques for managing emotions, communicating better, and tackling those tough situations head-on.

Together, we’ll empower your child to overcome their struggles and rediscover their joy. I can’t wait to connect with you and support your family!
